Pictures and Assignments of Priests/Clergy with “Substantiated Allegations”

The Milwaukee Archdiocese has published a list of “clergy offenders.”

According to the Archdiocese’s own website, these individuals are “diocesan priests of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee who have been (or would be if they were still alive) restricted from all priestly ministries, may not celebrate the sacraments publicly, or present themselves as priests in any way, due to substantiated allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.” The Archdiocese says it released the names of these priests/clergy for a number of reasons, including “encouraging any victims/survivors of clergy sexual abuse of minors who have yet to come forward to do so, knowing that they will be believed.”  Please note this is not an exclusive list because it does not include lay employees or individuals who worked for religious orders that operated within the Archdiocese.
